Nach dem langen, ruhigen Inselleben kam uns Bangkok doch sehr laut und hektisch vor. Das hat zwar auch seinen Reiz, doch ziehen wir das beschaulichere Ayutthaya vor. Nur knapp zwei Busstunden von Bangkok entfernt begibt man sich auf Zeitreise. Am besten mit Fahrrad. Gemuetlich radelt man durch die Strassen und findet an vielen Ecken wieder kleinere oder groessere Tempel.
After the relaxing time on the island, Bangkok seems to be even more loud and rushing. This is why we went out of it, looking for an more quite but interesting place. Ayutthaya has many temples and interesting places to offer. Take a bicycle and explore the area full of surprises - Buddha-wise.
